No two days are ever the same at Wild Time!! Most start with an early cup of coffee and light breakfast followed by an
early morning game drive or walk (often following tracks) in search of any animals in the area and to learn about the wonders of the African Bush. Walking Safaris, particulary at dusk or dawn are ideal times to catch some exciting wildlife activities. The midday heat is generally spent back in the cool shade of the camp; this is the time for eating a lazy lunch, taking a snooze, reading, watching documentaries, playing ball games or having a splash in the pool. This is also when lectures are held, as is the early afternoon. A late afternoon (after tea) and
early evening safari at dusk is again spent in the bush seeing what can be found and learning about the Wilderness and its inhabitants. With a sundowner in hand, we often watch the sun setting over the distant Drakensberg Mountains before heading back to camp in the darkness (all the while on the lookout for creatures of the night). Once back at camp, it’s dinner round the fire and some rehashing of the day’s adventures, before collapsing into a comfortable bed…
